#19: For All Of You Guitarists Who Run From Music Software...

This is for all of you who play guitar but run from the idea of using something other than pen and paper when writing music.  PowerTab Editor 1.7 is freeware midi software that has been out for like 12 years.  AND, if you start with PowerTab and decide to buy GuitarPro 5, you can convert the .ptb files in .gp5 files.  I'm not a huge technologically advanced person (I still play my N64, PS2, and have recently purchases a record player); however, I reccomend this program for any beginning/intermediate guitarists that are learning or writing.

How do you get PowerTab?  Google it.  It's freeware.  You can download it from somewhere.. No, you won't get a virus.

Below is my awesome Paint tutorial on how to "Create a Guitar" and "Add a Guitar to the Score."

This is your normal PowerTab screen, toolbars and all.

Step 1: Open the "Add Guitar" Dialogue Box

Step 2:  Create a Guitar

Step 3:  Open the "Guitar In" Dialogue Box

Step 4:  Select the Guitar to Add In

P.S.:  I do not own "Afterlife" by Avenged Sevenfold or the rights to PowerTab Editor 1.7 Software.
