#2: Comics

Well, I started this blog like a month ago and then our (Florida Tech College Players) production ("While The Lights Were Out") picked up and I haven't had much to say since. While I'm at it, I may as well post the commercial for the show.

Ashley Wood

In my free time I have been reading some crazy comics that I bought from someone off of fitforum who happens to have a similar soul to my own. She works at Hot Topic, loves Ben Templesmith, and is an artist in Melbourne. She introduced me to an artist named Ashley Wood. Ashley Wood is the artist for a mini comic series called Zombies Vs. Robots. The story is dark and satyrical and plunges the reader into a world full of George Lucas-esque robots where a virus has turned the human race into Zombies.



The second half of the series is called Zombies Vs. Robots Vs. Amazons. Ashley does both the cover art and the actual art for the first five and the art cracks me up. Its very sketchy and many of the characters are unnaturally bent, with all facial expressions being amazingly dramatic.



So, if you can find them on Amazon or at your local comic shop, I would def. suggest buying them. Totally worth it.
